MAIN GALLERY - Cult of Modern Mythology
This current series works as both political and societal commentary, while sharing the glorified elements of a capitalistic, 'progressive' society through an idealized lens.  The Cult of Modern Mythology emphasizes our substitution of age-old  representations of societal growth and progress for material or  technological icons.  Elevated by mass media to the level of an almost mythological representation of strength and power of a society, these images work to develop the audience's perception of these icons, and offer the question as to how quickly these items have usurped the historical for the purposed of instant gratification.
